This program grants you the ability to use the WhatsApp Business App and access Cloud API solutions at the same time. This way, all of your chat histories will be synchronize with the cloud API.
Why? With that, when previously you primarily use the WhatsApp Business App, now you will be able to leverage Pancake Ecosystem (via Cloud API) to connect with your customers at scale while retaining their WhatsApp Business App and phone number for continuity.
So what will you get from this program? Well, once you have already onboarded your WhatsApp App number to WhatsApp API in this program, you will get:
Shared chat history: All of your chats from the mobile device will be automatically loaded to WhatsApp API, ensuring continuity in communication with the customer.
Use all WhatsApp API feature: templates, broadcasts, flows, automatic response, buttons, catalogs... BUT only pay when you use this feature
All the WhatsApp mobile app feature will remain the same, and you can still correspond message with your client free of charge if you respond from your phone.
First, you need to add the WhatsApp Business app number to the desired Business Manager account.
Go to your Meta Business Suite account and select “WhatsApp Accounts” → Add → Link a WhatsApp Business Account.
Click on "Link a WhatsApp Business Account"
You will be prompted to enter the phone number, and the OTP code sent via WhatsApp.
After successfully added, it should look like this.
Double check to see if the "WhatsApp Business App" profile is added.
On Pancake Dashboard, click “Connect”, choose “Whatsapp” → “Add new account” → “Whatsapp API” → “Connect WhatsApp API (Co-existence)”
A window will pop up and you will be transferred to Meta’s Embedded Signup
Choose “Continue as …” to log in your FB account.
Click "Get Started"
Click "Next"
Choose “Connect your existing WhatsApp Business app” to start, and fill all the information required by Meta.
Enter your phone number, and then scan the QR code
You will receive a message from “Facebook Business” Account. Click on the link and scan the QR code on the screen.
You will be prompted to “Connect to the Business Platform” on your WhatsApp Business App. Please click the button and proceed.
For a well-rounded experience on this program, please choose “Share chats” to synchronize the chat history from your phone with Pancake.
Chat history data for individual (1:1) chats in the most recent 6 months will be synchronized to our system.
Once done, you will see this screen on your phone.
Go back to the flow on Pancake and confirm the permission.
All done! Just refresh Pancake and check if the number has been connected! Depends on your chat history load, the server will take a while to synchronize everything, so please be patient!
(The Pancake dashboard will stuck at loading for a while if there's too much chats need to be loaded, but you can close it since we're processing it in the background!)
