TikTok Business Messaging

Pancake is one of the first global partners of TikTok for TikTok Business Messaging. Through Pancake, TikTok users can easily manage conversations on their TikTok Business Account

There isn't much difference between a TikTok account and a TikTok Business account, and there are no fees for switching.

The TikTok Business account allows you to run "Click to TikTok Direct Message" ads, which normal accounts do not have. Your account don't have? Register HERE

Convert your TikTok account to TikTok Business account? You can follow the step below on TikTok App, or See step 5

Make sure your account accept Messages and Comment from Every one. And TURN OFF all the filter for Message and Comment

Step 1: Login to Pancake. Select Connect

Step 2: Select TikTok, then click Connect with TikTok

Step 3: Login to TikTok Account you want to connect with Pancake

Sometime, with QR code login, you can facing an issue. You can try again after 60s.

Step 4: Scroll to bottom and click Continue

You have to turn ON all of the permissions for Pancake, if not, the connection will be disrupted.

After click on Continue, you can get error. Check the next step.

Step 5: Checking the connection

5.1 Your account is not TikTok Business Account

• If your account hasn't switched to TikTok Business Account, you will see this error.

To fix this, you have to go to https://www.tiktok.com/business-suite/homepage

Choose your business category then click Become a Business

Your account is changed to Business Account successfully. You can comeback to Step 2 above then try to connect again.

5.2 Your account are already a TikTok Business Account

Your connection is established and you will be redirected to Pancake conversation management.

Step 6: Connect with TikTok Ads Account

If you have a TikTok Direct Message campaign, and customers come from the ads, you can see exactly the Ad that customer come from, directly in the Conversation. It's required some more step below

Once connect with your TikTok Ads Account, you can see exactly what ads customer clicked

If you haven't connect, the ad preview can show like that

The steps below show you how to connect Pancake with your TikTok Ads Account.

• Open new tab, login to your TikTok Ads Account https://ads.tiktok.com/

• Go to Setting > Tools > Connect of your TikTok connection you just connected on Pancake.

• On the popup, click Authorize

• After click on Authorize, you will be redirect to TikTok, please check if this is the account managed your TikTok Ad Account. You can click Switch Account to login to other account.

• Click Confirm to completed

Since you connect to TikTok Ads Account, you can see the Ad preview each time a customer comes from TikTok Direct Message Ads.

Tips : You can also filter conversations coming from AD ID by:

1. Selecting conversations by Source

2. Select "Filter by Ad ID"

3. Fill in the AD ID you want to filter

4. Click FILTER

Tips: Using Botcake for automation

Botcake can connect to TikTok for Business accounts and perform actions such as:
