Pancake has conversation filters for you to use on demand

Unread filter is filtering new unread conversations. The conversations are marked in orange

Filter comments, Filter messages, Filter conversations with Phone numbers, Filter without Phone numbers, Filter unanswered (are conversations the last responder is a customer), filter by time period, filter by Posts or filter by assignee and Filter by conversation tags
